Broward College is hosting the only Pat Tillman Honor Run/Walk in South Florida on Saturday, April 15 at the Broward College Central Campus, 3501 Davie Road in Davie. Runners and walkers will begin the 4.2-mile course at 7 a.m. sharp. Proceeds from the Pat Tillman Honor Run/Walk funds scholarships for veterans who are students at Broward College.

The Pat Tillman Honor Run celebrates the legacy of Pat Tillman, who left his NFL career with Arizona Cardinals to enlist in the U.S. Army after 9/11. He was killed in the line of duty in 2004. The 4.2-mile course honors Tillman’s jersey number 42 that he wore as a member of the Arizona State University football team.

Registration is $42 and is now open and required at https://runsignup.com/Race/FL/Davie/PatsRunBrowardCollege.

Broward College is uplifting and empowering the next generation of leaders dedicated to service. Veterans at Broward College who receive a scholarship become a Tillman Scholar, who are military service members, veterans and spouses with a high potential for impact, as demonstrated through a proven track record of leadership, the continued pursuit of education and the commitment of their resources to service beyond self.
