6000 YEARS OF PREHISTORIC HISTORY OF

PALM BEACH COUNTY

Presented by Chris Davenport

This talk will cover 6,000 years of the prehistory of Palm Beach County including a discussion of ancient artifacts such as stone tools and ceramics from pre-Columbian, Native American sites across the County.  The DuBois mound, an historic Indian midden in Jupiter is one of the places where Chris Davenport has unearthed exciting bits and pieces of Palm Beach County’s past.
