About the Boynton Beach Historical Society

The Boynton Beach Historical Society was founded in 1968.  Our mission is to act as a living repository for Boynton Beach's traditions and history.  We maintain property entrusted to us and collect, preserve and interpret items of historical and antiquarian significance.  The Society seeks to preserve Boynton’s history through a broad spectrum of regular programs and other special events such as guided history strolls and partnering with the City's art celebrations. We have been honored to have programs presented featuring outstanding authors, scholars, dramatists, and others.  Our meetings are held the third Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m., September-April, except for December.  The meetings are held at the Boynton Beach City Library unless it is closed for a holiday; our alternate location is the Boynton Beach Woman's Club.  Look for us on http://www.boyntonhistory.org/ or on FaceBook at https://www.facebook.com/historicboyntonbeach
