The League of Women  Voters is sponsoring a candidate forum  for the office of Boca Raton Mayor on Tuesday, March 1st from 7 to 8 at the Boca Raton Community Center, 150 Crawford Blvd. Incumbent Mayor Susan Whelchel  and challenger  Linda Gruneisen have agreed to express their views on municipal issues and to respond to audience questions. The forum will be moderated by a member of the League of Women  Voters,  (Not for Women Only) Palm Beach County. The League, a non partisan organization, has been in existence since 1920,  and as such endorses neither candidates nor political parties, but is committed to good government and strongly supports voter education and citizen involvement in the political process. Members of the community are urged to attend with their questions and thoughts about the future of Boca Raton.
