A musical tribute to Bob Seger – presenting all the well-known hits from this prolific artist with 75 albums sold over many decades, by a profession 7-piece band.

PERFORMER BIO

While this band is made up of 7 very talented, professional musicians with impressive resumes, this band was created because simply, we had OUR Bob Seger!

Ken Hurley IS our Bob Seger and when you see and hear him, he will be your Bob Seger too. From Kentucky, Ken started singing at age 7 when his mom, a renowned Southern Gospel singer, slowly worked him into the family band. A veteran of the South Florida music scene (and of the Marines), he earned a reputation as being a soulful singer with a great voice capable of singing anything–and while that is true–it is when he sings what he really loves, what resonates with him, that it’s really something special.

Fortunately for all his bandmates, and for you, Bob Seger’s music resonates with him, and to hear this band with Ken singing–well, it is in fact something special.

Ken Hurley: A singer since age 7, a soulful singer from Kentucky and front man for Florida based Shovelhead.

Valerie White: Originally from Texas, an extraordinary multi-instrumentalist, main component of Yacht Rock and One Hit Wonders and a well-known solo/duo performer in South Florida.

Steve Murphy: a touring pro, singer and multi-instrumentalist studio musician with an extensive resume including touring with Alan Parsons Project, Godfrey Townsend and others and who continues national touring dates with The Hit Men (with Greg Smith from Ted Nugent, Alice Cooper, Billy Joel, Tommy James).
