ArtsCamp is an intensive three-week program that enables children ages 9-11 to explore art, acting, dance, vocal music and technical theater led by eight professional teaching artists.

This curriculum provides an opportunity for students to expand their technical and performance skills. Each camper experiences every facet of the performing arts, from working with sets and lighting instruments, to playing theater games and learning dances and songs.

ArtsCamp culminates in an ensemble piece produced by the young artists under the guidance of the teaching artists. The campers lead the writing, choreographing and conceptualizing of the performance. They create most of the technical and design elements, and perform in the show or work backstage running lights, sound and other elements of the production. Campers will present two performances on Friday, June 24th, at 3 and 6 pm for family and friends.

ArtsCamp will run from June 6-24, weekdays from 9 am to 4 pm. Registration is now open. The fee is $650. Extended care is available. For more information about summer programs, call the Education Department at 561-651-4251 or visit kravis.org/education.
