Probably best known in the local arts community for being the first tenant at iconic Wynwood Walls in Miami, The Peter Tunney Experience is a must-see stop for art lovers from South Florida and beyond. Tunney’s boundless creative energy and positive messages have been a fixture of the art world since he declared himself an artist in 1987. His nontraditional life, which involves a cache of extraordinary experiences paired with countless wild adventures, serve as the foundations for his work. He creates in almost every medium and his works include paintings, collages, wood art, photography and artwork made from found objects and discarded materials.
In 2015, Tunney partnered with Jessica Goldman Srebnick, a real estate magnate best known as the “Graffiti Queen of Miami,” and formed Goldman Global Arts to curate transformative art projects around the world including the famed Wynwood Walls project, which has brought more than 110 street artists from 20 counties, revolutionizing the Miami art scene.
AMB is just one of several ways BFA supports local artists while fostering cultural vitality, creative success and economic development. BFA continuously supports the local arts community and promotes local artists, cultural non-profits and diverse art-related projects. BFA annually hosts several events in addition to AMB, including Art & Soul, Art in the Workplace, Art Curation and Art + Stroll.
