James Baker is the Executive Producer of Philchuck: A Dance with Fire and this documentary is now a PBS Special. A rich and entertaining mix of interviews, the film explores how a small art center in the woods, founded in 1971 by Dale Chihuly, became the center of the largest glass art center in the world. Written by Gary Gibson and Directed by John Forsen, this 2015 documentary stars Jeff Bridges, Jamie Carpenter, Dale Chihuly and many of the significant artists that have trained at and contributed to the success of The Pilchuck Glass School and made the United States Studio Glass movement a driving force.
