On Sunday, August 28th from 5 - 7 pm, St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in downtown Lake Worth will present Imagining Argentina, an evening of Argentine wine and cuisine. A committee of culinary enthusiasts is curating a menu of Argentine specialties. On offer will be Argentine Barbecue, Chimichurri Sauce, Empanadas, cheeses, meats and the famed “Martin Fierro” appetizers. Sweets will include Argentina’s favorite cookie: Alfajores (dulce de leche-filled sandwich cookies) and Don Pedros (a cocktail/ice cream hybrid).

Now in its sixth year of sponsoring the event, Dolce Vita, Lake Worth’s downtown wine shop, has assembled an impressive array of wines for the evening including an assortment of Malbecs. Dancers from the Exclusively Argentine Tango Studio in West Palm Beach will provide a demonstration of Argentina’s most passionate export.

During the tasting, attendees may order wines from the selections offered by Dolce Vita. Tickets for Imagining Argentina are priced at $25 per person and may be purchased by calling the church office, 561-582-6609.  Visa, Mastercard, checks accepted. All proceeds will benefit St. Andrew’s programs and services. St. Andrew’s Church is on the northeast corner of North Palmway and Lucerne Avenue in downtown Lake Worth.
