Ruth E. Carter has been in the Hollywood costume design business for over 40 years. Some of Carter's most memorable designs come from films such as "Love & Basketball," "Selma" and "Malcolm X." She recently made history as the first African American woman to win an Oscar for costume design for Marvel's “Black Panther.” Carter will speak about her career and where she garners her inspiration.
