The Orchid City Brass Band, South Florida’s only professional British-style brass band, will present “American Expressions” on June 29, 2014 at 3:00pm at First Presbyterian Church in North Palm Beach, located at 717 Prosperity Farms Road, in North Palm Beach, FL.
The concert, under the baton of David Gibble, will feature rousing settings of patriotic music, jazz numbers, a stirring arrangement of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and a salute to veterans with “An Armed Forces Salute” by Steven Bulla. In addition, Carlyle Weber, retired euphonium soloist with the U.S. Army Field Band, will be featured on Arthur Pryor’s The Blue Bells of Scotland.
The Orchid City Brass Band’s “American Expressions” is becoming a South Florida tradition, kicking off the Independence Day celebrations with a band of all brass instruments and percussion.
