The Alzheimer's Association Southeast Florida Chapter will host a National Alzheimer’s Plan Town Hall Meeting. The event will bring together key individuals and legislative representatives who will examine the National Alzheimer’s Plan released on May 15, 2012, and other Alzheimer’s Association Public Policy Priorities.

                        Speakers will include:

·         Mark S. Pafford, District 88 State Representative

·         Maria Lorts Sachs, District 30 State Representative

·         Constantino “Costas” Miskis from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services

·         Pamela Roshell, PhD, Regional Director of Region IV of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services

                        The event is open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to ask questions on the issue. In an effort to highlight the importance of Alzheimer’s disease, conclusions from the event will be shared with elected leaders. Media is invited to capture the discussion.
