As part of the fifth annual Allianz Championship tournament event week that drives proceeds to Boca Raton Regional Hospital, Family Day sponsored by the City of Boca Raton tees-off prior to the second round of PGA Champions Tour's tournament play with a Fairway 5K Run/Walk (with sign-up at 6 a.m.), the first 5K to ever take place on a Florida championship golf course plus a seperate free Junior Fun Run that will hit the green at the same time. It will be followed by a full tournament day schedule of free interactive family activities for all generations, including face painting, a bounce house, putting contests, an inspirational Don Law golf clinic, appearances by South Florida sports teams mascots and boosters, and much more.
