Join Albizu University and internationally renowned neuropsychologist Juan Arango-Lasprilla, Ph.D. on November 16 at 10 a.m. to explore the status of Hispanic individuals working in the field of neuropsychology in the United States and discuss the implications of their practice.

The field of neuropsychology has not been able to keep up with the ever-growing rate of the Hispanic/Latino population in the U.S. (currently the largest and growing minority population in the U.S. / will reach 111.22 million by 2060) and this could be attributed, in part, to the cultural homogeneity of individuals who usually pursue specialization in this field, while the number of ethnic minorities who do so has remained low.
