Nostalgic Delray, an exhibit of paintings depicting Delray Beach landmarks and buildings, will be presented by the Delray Beach Historical Society from Nov. 22 through February.
More than 120 works of art, created by members of Plein Air Palm Beach, will be displayed and for sale. The Historical Society worked with the Preservation Trust to identify buildings and sites that capture "our memories, our landscapes and the unique charm and character of Delray Beach," according to Winnie Edwards, executive director of the society.

A Nostalgic Delray Preview Party will take place from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Nov. 21 on the Historical Society grounds, 3 NE First St. Highlights will include cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, live jazz, and plein air painters capturing the event onsite. Tickets are $50. For information, call 274-9578 or visit delraybeachhistory.org.

Between the Waters, featuring paintings of scenes in and around Highland Beach, will be on display and for sale at the Highland Beach Library through Dec. 15.
Plein air artists "accessed condos, marinas and beach locations to produce works imbued with a sense of time and place," says Elfrida Schragen of Plein Air Palm Beach.
The library is at 3618 S. Ocean Blvd. For more information, call 716-5685 or email patimaguire@aol.com.
