Boca Resident Among the Notable Sports Icons at 2nd Annual A Day with Jack to Benefit Palm Beach Atlantic University

 

BOCA RATON — Boca Raton resident and professional tennis player Aaron Krickstein is among the sports celebrities participating in A Day with Jack, a special golf event hosted by Jack Nicklaus on Tuesday, May 17 to benefit Palm Beach Atlantic University. Held at The Bear’s Club in Jupiter, the golf event includes a breakfast and clinic led by Jack Nicklaus, followed by the tournament and awards luncheon.

 

Gregory Management Co., a private, family-owned investment vehicle with a diverse portfolio of public and private investments, is the event’s premium sponsor. Joe Gregory, managing partner of Gregory Management Co., and his brother John, provided the necessary multi-million dollar gift to establish the Lloyd L. Gregory School of Pharmacy as part of Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach. The Gregory family remains active supporters of the pharmacy school program and mission of the University.

Proceeds from the tournament support construction of the Marshall and Vera Lea Rinker Athletic Campus, a 76-acre site off Parker Avenue in West Palm Beach. The athletic complex will include competition facilities for the University’s varsity sports, including baseball, soccer, tennis and softball. In addition, the site includes campus recreation areas and a neighborhood park for nearby city residents.
