6th ANNUAL BLESSING OF THE PETS PLANNED AT
FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH OF DELRAY BEACH
Get ready to commemorate our furry, feathered and finned friends! The First Presbyterian Church of Delray Beach Board of Deacons is planning an exciting Blessing of the Pets that will be fun for the whole family including four-legged family members! The 6th Annual Blessing of the Pets worship service will be by Reverend Jo Garnett and Reverend Jessi Higginbotham and is scheduled for Sunday, October 26th at 4:00 pm in the church’s courtyard located at 33 Gleason Street, Delray Beach. The offering will benefit of the Deacons’ Scholarship Fund, which assists deserving youth members of the church pursuing full-time higher education.
“Our pets provide us with unconditional love and what better way to commemorate them and remember St. Francis if Assisi’s love for all creatures then with a special blessing for our adored animals.” says Reverend Garnett.
