The Buddy Walk ® is a Family Fun Event including a one mile walk, free breakfast, a petting zoo, rock wall, pony rides, a dunk tank, bounce houses, live entertainment, dj and dancing, characters and a raffle and silent auction. The event raises funds for the Gold Coast Down Syndrome’s educational, social and advocacy programs and promotes awareness of the capabilities and talents of persons with Down syndrome.
Check–In is at 8:00 a.m.; opening ceremony is at 8:45 a.m., walk start is at 9:15 a.m.; activities are from 8:00 a.m-1:00 p.m. Registration is $15.00 through 10/5; $20.00 after 10/5; participants may register day of the walk. Fee includes t-shirt, walk, breakfast and activities. Additional food is available for purchase, with 100% of the sales proceeds going to Gold Coast.
