As Center for Child Counseling celebrates 10 years of transformative impact in Palm Beach County with its Lead the Fight events, the 2025 series will kickoff with a luncheon featuring Dr. Nadine Burke Harris. With Kathy and Paul Leone as the honorary chairs and WPTV Channel 5’s Ashley Glass as the emcee, the event will take place at the Kravis Center Cohen Pavilion on Friday, February 28, 2025, at 11:30 AM.

Dr. Burke Harris is the former attorney general of California and an internationally renowned pediatrician, public health advocate, and author. She is best known for her pioneering work in the field of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and toxic stress.

As the featured virtual speaker at the Center’s 2024 Celebrate Babies event, Dr. Harris shared the key message: “You don’t have to boil the ocean, you just have to play your position.” For the 2025 Lead the Fight kickoff event, Dr. Burke Harris will attend in person and lead statewide business and system leaders in an interactive conversation that will build on this message to catalyze systemic change in how our community addresses childhood trauma.

VIP registration and sponsorship is now open. For more information, visit: centerforchildcounseling.org/leadthefight
