Fans can get in the game early by enjoying the free family-friendly pre-game Fan Fest and Family Midway filled with tailgating spirit leading up to opening ceremonies of Palm Beach County’s only annual NCAA-sanctioned college football bowl game. The fun includes interactive games and activities for fans of all ages, rides, food trucks, giveaways and contests, live band performances by Wolfhawk and an entertaining face-off performance between the two college bowl team bands and cheerleader squads at 10 a.m.
As one of newest of the 41 postseason college bowl games in the country, the eighth annual
RoofClaim.com Boca Raton Bowl matches up the East-Division champions of their respective conferences:
Western Kentucky University (Conference USA) and Appalachian State (Sun Belt Conference).
Kick-off that morning at FAU Stadium is at 11 a.m. The match-up will be televised live nationally
on ESPN and broadcast on ESPN Radio, including ESPN 106.3 locally.
