2010 ANNUAL BOATING & BOATING BASH FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES SPONSORED BY THE CITY OF BOCA RATON ADVISORY FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES WHEN: Saturday, March 20, 2010 from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM WHERE: Spanish River Park, A1A, Boca Raton, at the Intracoastal marina/picnic area at the western side of the park WHAT’S HAPPENING? Free admissions and parking at Spanish River Park, free hotdogs, hamburgers, chips, beverages, live band, supervised accessible boat rides on the Intracoastal Waterway, pony rides, scuba demonstrations for people with disabilities and much more WHY: Each year the City of Boca Raton Advisory Board for People with Disabilities, an all volunteer group, sponsors a FREE picnic in the park saluting area residents and visitors with cross disabilities, their families and caregivers. This year’s Boating and Beach Bash will include FREE boat rides on the Intracoastal courtesy of Shake A Leg Miami, the nation’s foremost water sports recreational facility for people with disabilities. Free pony rides will be available from Bit By Bit Therapeutic Riding Center in Parkland.
