Both events are open to the public and proceeds will fund teens in foster care
Pembroke Pines, FL (September 12, 2024) — Children’s Harbor, a nationally accredited nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening families and supporting teens in foster care, is excited to host upcoming fall events this October 2024. All ticketing proceeds from the events will support Children’s Harbor’s teens and families in foster care.
Accelerate will take place on Thursday, October 3, 2024 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in celebration of Daniel Wakefield’s upcoming book launch and will include learning from the visionaries who inspired his business and his book, with a chance to network with professionals from Palm Beach through Miami. On Tuesday, October 17th, Children’s Harbor main campus will be covered in spine-chilling decor to kickoff the Halloween thrill at the annual Halloween Harbor Night from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Attendees will journey into the spooky adventures that await. On Saturday, October 28th, Children’s Harbor will host the Inaugural Harbor Lights Classic from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. for all golf lovers to come swing to save lives at Grande Oaks Golf Club 3201 W Rolling Hills Cir, Davie, FL 33328. Children's Harbor is a nationally accredited nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening families and supporting teens in foster care. Located in South Florida, Children's Harbor provides safe residential housing for teens, their younger siblings, and teen mothers affected by the trauma of child abuse.
