Christopher D'Angelo of Boca Raton, a student athlete on the lacrosse and football teams at St. Andrew's School, was sidelined by a football injury in 2024. He then learned the bagpipes so that, while recovering, he could continue to play a role by leading his lacrosse team onto the field before games to the tune of Scotland the Brave. While he returned to playing in football games Sept. 15, that team too has started marching onto the field behind him and his bagpipes.
