The exhibit showcases giant sea-life sculptures made from marine debris and graphically illustrates the plastic pollution in the ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway. ‘The primary role of Mounts Botanical is to educate and inspire people about the importance of nature and the environment — how it impacts the everyday life of everyone, and how we are all responsible to preserve and protect this precious gift for generations to come,’ said Rochelle Wolberg, the garden’s curator-director.
