Malena Ohl, a 2012 graduate of The Benjamin School and a resident of Ocean Ridge, has received a $2,000 scholarship from the Financial Service Centers of America, the national trade association representing the financial industry. Criteria for the scholarship include commitment to community service; perseverance in the face of significant obstacles; display of leadership skills in school; academic achievement; and an original essay written specifically for the competition.
