Roseate spoonbill sighting: Woolbright Road retention pond, Ocean Ridge – May 1

Following a few days of heavy rain in early May, a pair of roseate spoonbills was seen feeding in the shallow waters in the retention pond at Woolbright Road and A1A. Typically seen much farther inland, the pair departed after the water drained. Jerry Lower/ The Coastal Star
