Aaskov and incumbent Commissioner Geoff Pugh (rear) were elected to fill two open commission seats. 719 residents cast votes in the March 13 election. During the commission’s reorganization, Vice Mayor Pugh was selected as mayor and Commissioner Lynn Allison was selected vice mayor.
Longtime Mayor and Commissioner Kenneth Kaleel was honored at the April meeting for his service to the Town of Ocean Ridge.
