A1A in Manalapan was closed from the Boynton Inlet to Plaza del Mar for more than a hour on Jan. 2 as the Palm Beach County Fire Department responded with 12 units, 24 firefighters and command staff to a report of smoke at a home in the 1100 block of South Ocean Boulevard.
