The Lantana Town Council has scheduled a special meeting for 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 9, at town hall to approve a contract for the new town manager, Brian Raducci.
Raducci, assistant manager of Aventura, was selected from four finalists interviewed by the Town Council on Aug. 19. He will fill the position vacated by Deborah Manzo, who left Lantana to become the administrator of Okeechobee County.
The terms of his contract were negotiated during a meeting between Lantana Mayor Robert Hagerty, Town Attorney Max Lohman, Raducci and hiring consultant Colin Baenziger.
