Highland Beach residents can get a fun kickoff to the holiday season as the town once again hosts its annual Mingle Jingle.
Set for 5 to 8 p.m. Dec. 3, this year’s holiday celebration in the parking lot of St. Lucy Catholic Church will include food trucks, live music, holiday sweets and offerings from local breweries.
There is also an opportunity to meet representatives from the town’s several departments and to see public safety displays up close. The Highland Beach Sea Turtle team will have volunteers on hand to share information about the turtles.
To make it easy for residents to attend the event without having to get in their cars, the town is once again providing free trolley service to and from Mingle Jingle.
The event is free to Highland Beach residents and RSVPs are encouraged. To RSVP, visit the town’s website, highlandbeach.us, and click on “save the date for Mingle Jingle.”
Town officials are hoping to make sure residents know that there could be a request for a donation following the completion of the RSVP. That request is not related to the town and residents are not obligated to donate.
