The Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts Foundation Guild has raised $1 million through its musical lunches during the last decade, and the 2014 series concluded with a presentation by guild President Dorothy Lappin to foundation board Chairman Simon Benson Offit of a check in that amount. ‘We never dreamed when we started the luncheons 10 years ago that we would be able to raise $1 million for these talented students, but with your help, we’ve done it, and we will keep going,’ Lappin said.
