The Million Orchid program is experimenting with locations around the county to try to re-establish native orchids in the wild. Fifteen members of the club worked with Palm Beach County employees to carefully glue the butterfly and dollar orchid species to the hammock trees, which offer the growing epiphytes a stable place to thrive.
