The event that kicked off the DownRight ExtraOrdinary Walk for Down Syndrome (formerly the Buddy Walk) raised more than $3,500. The money will support expenses for the Gold Coast Down Syndrome Organization’s resource center, which offers programs for children with Down syndrome. The walk is seet for Oct. 14.
