Mack Bernard (D-West Palm Beach) is sworn into Delray Beach Commission Seat 2 as fellow commissioners (standing l-r) Tom Carney, Angeleta Gray and Adam Frankel along with Mayor Woodie McDuffie observe. Jacquet won the seat with 1,850 votes in the March 13 municipal election. Gray was re-elected to commission seat 4 with 2,214 votes.  A charter amendment asking voters whether they wanted to change commissioners’ and mayor’s length of office from the current two-year terms to three-year terms was defeated.
