George Elmore took the spotlight at the second installment of the Kravis Center’s speaker series, moderated by Kravis board Chairman Jeffrey Stoops. Elmore, founder and president of paving contractor Hardrives, talked about his successes and career milestones. He also praised the Kravis Center and its impact on the area. ‘It would be tremendously different if the Kravis Center wasn’t in West Palm Beach,’ he said. ‘I don’t think we would have had CityPlace, now Rosemary Square, or the Palm Beach County Convention Center. It brought a lot here and continues to raise the bar for arts and culture as well.’ ABOVE: Stoops, Elmore and Mark Levy. Photo provided by CAPEHART
