A gift of $20,000 was received from the Lions Club of Delray Beach to establish an endowment to assist visually impaired patrons. John Parke, club treasurer, along with other members presented the check to Nancy Dockerty, library board president, and Alan Kornblau, library director. Parke requested the money be used to purchase large-print books and books on tape.
