The Boca Raton Airport Authority has partnered with FAU to honor the brave men and women who serve the country and the community through the Hometown Heroes initiative. One such man is Florida Highway Patrol Sgt. J.R. Wigfall, who was recognized on the football field during homecoming. ‘As we celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Boca Raton Airport, we take great pride in honoring Sgt. Wigfall as a Hometown Hero,’ says Clara Bennett, executive director of the BRAA. ‘We thank him for his hard work and the sacrifices he has made to help our community soar.’ ABOVE: (l-r) BRAA Vice Chairman Randy Nobles, board member James Nau, Bennett, Chairman Robert Tucker, FHP Lt.
