Caridad Center’s annual gala raised funds to provide dental and medical care to the working poor, furthering its mission of upgrading education, health and quality-of-life standards for underserved families. Board members Rick Retamar and Marie Speed received the Connie Berry Award, named after the organization’s co-founder.
