Celebrations: Delray Beach Center for the Arts at Old School Square Launch Party – Oct. 12

Carol and Ian Barrett dance to Across the Universe, the Ultimate Beatles Tribute band during the Center for the Arts initial Free Friday Concert, as the center unveiled its new name and look. The Barretts live in the United Kingdom and have a home in Cascade Lakes. They grew up near Liverpool and recall seeing The Beatles play at a local dance hall. They have been coming to Delray Beach since 1975, and plan to attend future Free Friday Concert events. Jerry Lower/The Coastal Star
