The event brought together hundreds of enthusiastic volunteers, prominent sponsors and executive leaders and marked the culmination of a yearlong fundraising effort by the corps’ 20,000-plus members across nearly 50 South Florida chapters. ‘The tools at our disposal come from research, and The Pap Corps is our essential partner,’ said Dr. Antonio Iavarone, deputy director of the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. ‘We could not survive without you.’ ABOVE: (l-r) Jayne Sylvester Malfitano, Susan Dinter, Sally Berenzweig and Dr. Iavarone. Photo provided by Kay Renz
