Hundreds of members gathered at the Pap Corps Champions for Cancer Research’s signature event, which celebrated creativity while supporting groundbreaking research at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. In all, more than $120,000 was raised. The event featured an inspiring exhibition of artwork from members, local students and Dani Papa, a descendant of the pioneering Dr. Georgios Papanicolaou, who helped invent the pap smear test. ‘We were deeply moved by the outpouring of creativity,’ CEO Sally Berenzweig said. ‘Each piece reflected personal inspiration, making this a truly remarkable event for cancer research.’ ABOVE: (l-r) Barbara Eisensmith, Ilene Rand and Lori Margolis.
