Students from St. Jude Catholic School in Boca Raton empty buckets of debris collected along the Spanish River Park shoreline during the 2026 International Coastal Cleanup. ICC is the world’s largest volunteer effort to clean up beaches and the marine environment. Every year, volunteers from more than 100 countries descend on beaches, rivers, lakes and canals to show their commitment to cleaner waterways. The Ocean Conservancy, the world’s largest organization focusing exclusively on the health of the marine environment, has sponsored this annual event for the past 41 years.
