The luxury Mr. C Residences Boca Raton has been approved for construction by the Boca Raton City Council.
The 12-story condo project will be built at 14 SE Fourth St., between Dixie and Federal highways.
Key International and Wexford Real Estate Investors announced the project in January, saying the 133 two- and three-bedroom units would be priced from $1.7 million.
It will be the third Mr. C Residences in South Florida, joining those in West Palm Beach and Coconut Grove.
Council members quickly approved the project at their Oct. 26 meeting, and no residents voiced objections.
The project is a reworking of Wexford’s plans for the 2.1-acre property that were approved by the council in 2023 but not built.
Conceived as a 12-story luxury rental, it now is a condo. Wexford also has upgraded its architecture and landscaping. It now will have a 6,000-square-foot Bellini restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating that will be open to the public.
Facilities for residents will include rooftop bar, infinity pool, spa, fitness center, sauna, hot and cold plunge pools and yoga studio. A pickleball court and dog park will be outside.
101 E. Palmetto Park Road
The council also approved another project in the downtown, this one at 101 E. Palmetto Park Road.
A two-story building that dates to 1939 will have a restaurant with outside seating on the ground and offices on the second floor. Previous plans to turn the second floor into four residential units have been scrapped.
The project was controversial because it did not include parking spaces. The revised project also is without parking, but the property owner has agreed to instead make contributions to Palm Tran, Tri-Rail, the Circuit downtown shuttle service and Brightline.
