The world’s largest autism fundraising event celebrated a local version along the downtown waterfront to support the mission of Autism Speaks. The sensory-friendly and family-family event attracted more than 3,000 participants. ‘Knowing you have the support of the Autism Speaks community will help families navigate their journey and help them not feel alone,' said walk Co-Chairwoman Marla Garchik, who received the nonprofit’s inaugural Wright Legacy Award.
