Atlantic’s wintry breath, Ocean Ridge — Jan. 23

Mist rose from the sea as temperatures dipped into the 40s across south Palm Beach County on Jan. 23. The next weekend, an even colder front moved through the area, dropping the mercury to 39 degrees in Boca Raton and 37 in West Palm Beach.
