Our dunes are now trash beds or were since I cleaned most of this up. No one is talking about the destruction that has happened to our beaches and is still continuing and it's up to citizens to volunteer their time to clean this up since the county has failed too.</p></div>Post Sandy litterhttps://thecoastalstar.com/photos/post-sandy-litter2012-11-28T02:58:34.000Z2012-11-28T02:58:34.000ZRobyn Halaszhttps://thecoastalstar.com/members/RobynHalasz<div><img src="https://storage.ning.com/topology/rest/1.0/file/get/7961162281?profile=RESIZE_400x&width=400"></div><div><p>11/8/12- This is just some of what two of us collected post Sandy. We found a staircase, doors with exposed nails and plastic galore. This problem needs to be brought to the fore front because it is being ignored by the media and by the county that is supposed to care.</p></div>Beach Litterhttps://thecoastalstar.com/photos/beach-litter-12012-11-28T02:58:02.000Z2012-11-28T02:58:02.000ZRobyn Halaszhttps://thecoastalstar.com/members/RobynHalasz<div><img src="https://storage.ning.com/topology/rest/1.0/file/get/7961161662?profile=RESIZE_400x&width=400"></div><div><p>All this collected in a small area in the seaweed line on 11/26/12. There is no end to the plastic that is being washed up.</p></div>Sea Bird of Litterhttps://thecoastalstar.com/photos/sea-bird-of-litter2012-11-28T02:57:41.000Z2012-11-28T02:57:41.000ZRobyn Halaszhttps://thecoastalstar.com/members/RobynHalasz<div><img src="https://storage.ning.com/topology/rest/1.0/file/get/7961160055?profile=RESIZE_400x&width=400"></div><div><p>This bird was made with litter found at one clip by one person...me. Lately I have been seeing birds with fishing line and rope wrapped around their legs. Storms are leaving behind dangerous litter not only to us but to our animals. Nothing is being done to clean the mess up accept by citizens like me who volunteer their time. Please don't litter and help us help our beaches.</p></div>
