This class, taught by a surfer herself, is specifically designed for surfers, swimmers, kayakers, and paddlers but is open to all looking for a strong practice. This class is taught primarily in the Vinyasa flow style, but specifically designed to strengthen and stretch the muscles most commonly used while surfing. The class emphasizes range of motion and flexibility of the shoulders, back and hips - the body regions most commonly overused and injured by surfers, paddlers and swimmers. Incorporating breath-work and relaxation techniques with strength building and flexibility poses, this class will lead you to a more balanced awareness.
