There is much to appall one in today’s world, and I just experienced another example of an appalling act. I have served as a volunteer for many years at a local food pantry, the Community Caring Center of Greater Boynton Beach. On the night of March 19, our facility was broken into, and all of our computers, printers, phones and other objects necessary for us to help the hungry and needy in our community were stolen.

We work very hard to raise money and collect food, and the heartlessness of those who took our property just makes our efforts that much more difficult. We serve the “Heart of Boynton,” on a very limited budget, and we can only hope that the very people who took our belongings are not our clients also.
