It has been suggested that the town of Ocean Ridge offer its residents a free, monthly one-hour program of entertainment at Town Hall. This could consist of lectures or entertainment. The program would be held on a fixed schedule such as 7 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month.
There are hundreds of possible subjects to be heard, including Florida and local history, local flora and fauna including ocean life, new findings in astronomy and other fields of science, art appreciation as well as musical performances.
The first program would likely be in October 2013 and continue through March or April.
If you would be interested in such a program, please respond to this writer (contact information below) with answers to the following questions:
    • Would you attend and support such a program?
    • What kind of topics and subjects would you like to see and hear?
    • Are you interested in being a presenter or know someone who might be?
    • Would you like to volunteer to help with the endeavor?
