Deerfield Beach Residents do the Impossible and Run Rehab Facility

OUT of the Neighborhood!

In spite of being told that they were wasting their time by some of the neighbors, as well as, the city, Mr. Patrick Jolivet led a coalition of neighbors through an extensive sign campaign focusing on the TLC Recovery business model to eventually run them out of the neighborhood.  Although, TLC is covered by the Americans with Disability Act, Mr. Jolivet exposed and challenged their business model and eventually showed that although they claimed to be a non-profit and wanted only to help people, in the end TLC Recovery’s actions speak for themselves!  On July 25 after the residents pummeled TLC Recovery with pictures and statements challenging TLC Recovery’s ability to effectively run a rehab. The city granted them 6 residents with certain conditions including requiring security. This decision adversely affected their business model and caused TLC Recovery to pick up and leave.  In a statement by Mr. Jolivet “We did what we had to do to expose them for what they were. The fact that they were granted 6 people and still chose to leave speaks for itself.”
